Guillermo del Toros Hellboy films are among the most popular fantasy film series ever. It was all the more disappointing for many fans when no third part was announced after the second film. Instead, there was a reboot, which received devastating feedback from many fans. Now the series should be saved again with the next restart. The Demon Hellboy (David Harbour) was supposed to herald the end of the world. However, after being hired by Trevor Bruttenholm (Ian McShane) was found and raised, he fights for the survival of humanity. When the Blood Queen Nimue (Milla Jovovich) shows up, Hellboy is sent there. With his fellow campaigners Anna (Sasha Lane) and Ben (Daniel Dae Kim) is intended to prevent that Merlin’s wife will bring about the end of the world.

So far you could see him as Black Tom Cassidy in Deadpool 2 or as Gabriel Bolivar in the horror series The Strain. So he has experience in the comic and horror genre.
