1. Heart of Stone (2023) – A Thriller Arriving on August 11th on Netflix
We kick off the list of new Netflix movies with an upcoming release. Gal Gadot teams up with Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey, The Fall, The Tourist) in this action-packed spy thriller, the official teaser of which you can watch here: Heart of Stone teaser.
2. Pain Hustlers (2023) – Starring Emily Blunt and Chris Evans
A single mother (Emily Blunt) takes a desperate job offer at a pharmaceutical startup on the brink of bankruptcy, not realizing what she’s getting into: a scam… A new Netflix drama movie where Emily Blunt shares the screen with Chris Evans.
Scheduled to release on October 27th on NETFLIX.
3. A Family Affair – Best Movies Streaming on Netflix
A romantic comedy in which a young woman discovers that her mother, played by Nicole Kidman, is in a love affair with her former boss, portrayed by Zac Efron :). Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron aren’t in this position for the first time on screen, if you remember The Paperboy.
Scheduled for release on November 17th on NETFLIX.
4. Leave the World Behind (2023) – Starring Julia Roberts
A thriller with Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, and Kevin Bacon, about two families whose vacation in Long Island takes an unforeseen turn. The movie is set to release on December 8th, 2023.
5. The Killer (2023) – Premiering on November 10th, 2023
The Killer is a Netflix thriller, starring Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton in leading roles. After being in limbo for 10 years, the script was bought by Netflix from Paramount, with David Fincher (Gone Girl, Mank, The Social Network, Zodiac, Se7en).
Fassbender will play the role of a serial killer who starts questioning his morality… even though his clients still need his services. We haven’t seen Fassbender in a movie for a while, but you surely remember him from 12 Years a Slave, Steve Jobs, Macbeth, Inglourious Basterds, Jane Eyre, A Dangerous Method, and many other titles. The script was written by Andrew Kevin Walker, the writer of Se7en. We say there are enough reasons to eagerly await this Netflix film.

6. Leo (2023) – Animation with Adam Sandler
An animated comedy with Adam Sandler and his Sandler family :). Because the voices in this animation will also be provided by other Sandler family members. Adam Sandler will lend his voice to the 74-year-old bored and jaded cockroach Leo, who has been living in a terrarium at an elementary school for decades. When he learns he has only a year to live, he decides to escape to live life on his terms again.
Scheduled for release on November 22nd, 2023.
7. Maestro (2023) – Starring Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan
Do you recognize him? It’s Bradley Cooper in the role of composer and conductor Leonard Bernstein. Cooper not only portrays the famous Bernstein but co-wrote the script and directs the biographical film Maestro – which we’ll get to see on NETFLIX this year. Spielberg let him direct it after seeing the great job he did in A Star Is Born Cool, right?
We’re eagerly awaiting the trailer, which will most likely appear during or shortly after the premiere of Maestro scheduled to take place at the Venice Film Festival, starting on August 30th.
Maestro is scheduled for release this winter.
8. The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar (2023)
We conclude our list of new Netflix movies with a production based on the short stories of writer Roald Dahl, co-written and directed by the wonderful Wes Anderson, known for The French Dispatch, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, etc.
Among the actors you’ll see in Wes Anderson’s movie are Benedict Cumberbatch, Ralph Fiennes, Dev Patel, Sir Ben Kingsley, and the list goes on. The movie will appear in 2023, but an exact date hasn’t been announced yet.”
