The 2024 The Brothers Sun series year has just begun and Netflix already has some exciting highlights in January on offer. Next to the Return of Vikings star Travis Fimme Series fans can look forward to a comedy series with an action legend Michelle Yeoh be happy. She received an Oscar last year for her performance in the sci-fi multiverse spectacle Everything Everywhere All at Once.
What Yeoh’s new action series The Brothers Sun What makes it even more exciting is that it’s about the latest Netflix project from American Horror Story co-creator Brad Falchuk. In The Brothers Sun, the head of a Taiwanese gangster clan is murdered. Now his son Charles Sun (Justin Chien) for the safety of his relatives living in Los Angeles. His mother Eileen (Michelle Yeoh) knows how to defend itself against attackers, but there is a problem.
His younger brother Bruce (Sam Song Li) has no idea what business his family is involved in. Charles and Eileen would like to keep the truth secret for as long as possible. But in the face of hordes of enemies streaming in, this is impossible.

The series was developed by Brad Falchuk and Byron Wu. Falchuk in particular can look back on a rich filmography of exciting series highlights. He has been working as a screenwriter and producer with a series mogul for 20 years now Ryan Murphy together. As a co-creator, he was involved in series such as American Horror Story, Scream Queens, 9-1-1: LA Emergency Call, pose and The Politician involved.
The Brothers Sun is already for leading actress Michelle Yeoh the third series project for Netflix. She previously starred in the historical adventure Marco Polo the fighter Lotus and embodied a fighting elf in the fantasy series The Witcher: Blood Origin.
The first season of The Brothers Sun will be available to stream on Netflix from January 4, 2024 with all eight episodes. It is not yet known whether the darkly humorous action series will be continued with a second season.
