From director Judd Apatow (known for The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Girls, Trainwreck, This is 40) comes the romantic comedy Bros. It follows two gay men stumbling on their path to love, with the main obstacle being the difficulty of embracing their relationship. You can watch the Bros trailer here. 2. Hot Summer Nights (2018) – Recently Added To HBO and HBO Max
A film with a summery vibe, Hot Summer Nights is a coming-of-age story centered around Daniel, a young man portrayed by Timothee Chalamet. Spending the summer with his aunt by the seaside in a small town temporarily invaded by affluent vacationers, Daniel (Timothee Chalamet) starts coming out of his shell, selling marijuana, and falling for the town’s hottest girl.
3. The Perfect Find (2023) – Top 8 New Movies To Watch
A fresh romantic comedy adapted from the novel of the same name by Tia Williams. It features endearing dialogues and chemistry between the characters, offering a pleasant viewing experience. A fashion editor feels her career is at risk again after discovering that the charming young man she kissed at a party is her new colleague and the boss’s son.
4. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny – In theaters from tomorrow, 30th June
What do you think of the trailer for the new Indiana Jones movie, with Harrison Ford in the lead role, joined by Antonio Banderas, Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Toby Jones in the fifth installment of the series? The film was supposed to be directed by Steven Spielberg, as with the other Indiana Jones productions, but he remained as the producer. The premiere will take place on 30th June 2023, including in Romania, in theaters.
5. Babylon – 3 Oscar nominations in 2023 – available on SkyShowtime from 6th July
One of the few interesting films of this year that hadn’t been available on any streaming platform until now will be on SkyShowtime from 6th July. With 3 technical Oscar nominations, Babylon is a period film with Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, depicting the rise and fall of several characters during the transition from silent to sound films in the mid-1920s Hollywood.
6. Gold Brick (2023) – Available On NETFLIX from 6th July
Gold Brick is an easy-going summer film, a comedic drama produced by Netflix France. Determined to settle the score and take advantage of his underpaid job, a worker plans to steal luxury perfumes right under his employer’s nose. The trailer is available on Netflix.
7. The Out-Laws – Action Comedy, Available On Netflix From 7th July
We love The Out-laws trailer, especially the jokes, and the one with James Bond. Owen is getting ready to marry his girlfriend (Nina Dobrev), but soon everything goes haywire. Because his future in-laws arrive in town and seem to rob the bank where Owen works… The two in-laws are played by none other than Pierce Brosnan and Ellen Barkin.
8. Afire (2023) – In Theaters From 7th July
Afire is suitable for you if you want to see an artistic film with summer accents but with depth. Afire is full of zest for life and love against the backdrop of a summer vacation spent by two friends, a writer, and a photographer, on the Baltic Sea coast. But the film is not just a summer story; it comes with questions and puzzles about maturity and finding balance. We’ve already seen it, and we can say that the audience smiled and laughed in the theater, but the weight it gains towards the end takes away the summer vibe So if you want a light summery movie, Afire might not be the best choice. If you want a “real” film, Afire is for you.”
